Coverage of the UEFA Champions League will be shown via the CCTV 5 channel available in over 350 million homes throughout the country. In addition CCTV will make available all games via internet and mobile.

Internet operators Sina and QQ will each stream two live UEFA Champions League matches per matchnight as well as the highlights package.

For the UEFA Europa League, QQ will transmit two live games every matchweek, and both internet operators will make available the weekly highlights programme. The content will be accessible to football fans in China through the QQ and Sina internet portals, QQ.com and sina.com respectively.

Commenting on the award of these UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League media rights, UEFA said: "UEFA is delighted to announce CCTV's renewal of the UEFA Champions League rights in China. Long-term rights holder CCTV has proven its dedication to the competition and demonstrated that it is best placed to ensure great access to the competition for fans in China.

"UEFA is also delighted to welcome new internet partner QQ – which joins incumbent rights holder Sina – into the family of UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League broadcasters. Both platforms will further develop and enhance the digital presence of the competitions in the territory."

Further announcements regarding the award of the remaining UEFA Europa League media rights in China will be made in due course.
